Gaa!

Too much work, too many things happening at the same time, lots of internal team changes, shifting responsibilities, and a limited quota of 24 hours a day. Recipe for utter chaos.

Hopefully things will be better by end of August. Until then, someone pass me some Chyawanprash, Glucon D and a can of orange juice.

Yawn.

Unscrew You

Seriously. Unscrew you and unscrew all that you are doing. Unscrew the bloody stress and unscrew all those who want to shout ’screw you’ at whosoever else.

Unscrew you.

The most poignant stories, songs, movies, have been written about two things: love and war. Come to think of it, these are the same emotion in its two extremes. Saw I Robot, Seabiscuit, ZeitGeist, Final Fantasy, Rambo 4. Halfway through Rant and Grimus. And consumed Grammy Awards Show on TV, not to mention many episodes of Scrubs and Sienfeld.

Recommendation. Do all of these. Definitely worth the time.

Book Update

Finished Rising Sun by Michael Crichton on my long drawn thirteen hour journey to Bombay. As a story it blew, but the take on Japanese business strategy and the American fear of the industrial might and lobbying power of Japan was pretty interesting.

Books, Books. Just finished Haunted. Re-reading Asimov’s Foundation. Finished The Kite Runner week before last. Half-way through The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (for the nth time) and Malgudi Days.

The writer’s block. Seems to have taken a particular liking to me. Just politely asked it to bugger-off and started tapping away at the keyboard. Feeling much better now, I must confess.
